Billing

Manage your plan, usage, and payments.

Overview#

Open Settings > Usage to track usage and Settings > Billing to manage payments. For product plans, inclusions, and usage rates, see the pricing page.

Usage controls#

Each account has a monthly spend limit on usage past its plan. Once a month's usage past your plan, counting paid work already started at its expected cost, reaches the limit, new paid work beyond your plan doesn't start until the next billing month or until the limit is raised; included work and work already running continue. The Terms state the default limit for each way of paying. Admins and owners can set a lower limit, or ask Point11 for a higher one, under Monthly spend limit in Settings > Billing. You also control spend by scheduling or pausing campaigns; Settings > Usage shows where you stand.

Usage past your plan is billed at the rates on the pricing page on your next monthly invoice, or sooner on an interim invoice: whenever your unbilled usage past your plan reaches US$1,000 during a month, it's invoiced then, and your renewal date stays the same (Terms). Work that starts in one month and finishes in the next uses the first month's included usage; anything it adds past your plan is billed with the month it finishes in, at the prices in effect when it started.

What Usage shows#

Settings > Usage names the billing period at the top, such as Oct 1–31, 2026 (UTC), and lists each product under Campaigns, Alpha, and Other products. Its figures count settled usage only: work that has finished and been counted.

  • 240 of 800 is how much of a product's included usage you've used this period. A product your plan includes none of shows its count alone, or, for Studio's API use, its dollars.
  • +$ under a product's figures is its usage past your plan settled this period, at the prices in effect when each run started. It covers the whole period, including any part an interim invoice has already billed.
  • A spinner beside a product's figures marks its pending runs, the ones not yet counted, such as "2 runs await final count". They count toward no figure until they finish being counted, and the row updates as each one does. Meanwhile they may hold part of your included usage ("holding 40 conversations").

While Point11 bills your subscription, Past plan shows one more row:

  • Not invoiced is the usage past your plan that no invoice has billed yet: what your subscription has settled since its latest usage invoice was created, even one still being finalized. Once the interim-invoice threshold applies to your subscription, it reads against it, as in $84.20 of $1,000.
  • Billed names your next invoice's date: your renewal on the 1st, or your final invoice if your subscription is set to cancel. That invoice bills what's Not invoiced by then, unless an interim invoice bills it first.

So the products' +$ amounts can add up to more than Not invoiced: the difference is already on an invoice, an interim one from this period or an earlier subscription's final one, which Settings > Billing lists. A cloud marketplace subscription shows no Past plan: the marketplace bills usage past your plan.

Billing months#

Point11 bills by calendar month in UTC. Billing dates are UTC calendar days: your plan renews on the 1st (UTC), at 00:00 UTC, which in the Americas is still the last day of the previous month, and that invoice is dated the 1st. Your first invoice covers the rest of your signup month, prorated from the start of your signup day: signing up on September 25 bills 6/30 of the monthly price for September 25–30, then the full monthly price on the 1st of each month. Your first month's included usage is prorated the same way, rounded up. The setup allowance for your first campaign is included in full and used after that month's included usage; if your first month started after the 1st, whatever of it you don't use carries into your first full month, once. Otherwise, included usage resets on the 1st and doesn't carry over. Each product's included usage for a month is set when the product is first used that month and stays the same for the rest of the month.

Price changes#

If Point11 bills your subscription, its base plan price is fixed for as long as your organization subscribes, even if you cancel and subscribe again. Before a usage or overage price goes up, or a plan's included usage goes down, we email your billing contact at least 30 days ahead or, if your account has none, the members who manage your organization's billing. A change takes effect at 00:00 UTC on the 1st of a month and applies only to usage that starts after that.

Payments#

Admins and owners manage payments in Settings > Billing. If you pay by card, you keep one saved card: Add payment saves it, and the menu beside it offers Update card and, when allowed, Remove. While your subscription is active, you can replace the card but not remove it. After your subscription ends, the card stays until your last usage is invoiced and paid. Stripe handles your card details; Point11 never sees the full number. Billing shows the card type, expiry date, and expiry warnings.

To cancel, choose Cancel subscription from the menu beside your plan, even while a payment is past due. Your plan runs through the last day of the current billing period, and fees already invoiced aren't refunded.

Pay by invoice#

To pay by invoice, choose Request below your payment method. Enter your legal company name under Organization name, your billing address, and an Invoice email, plus a PO reference if you use one. You need an active subscription on an account that isn't suspended. We review the request and email your invoice address when invoice billing is on, with the payment terms we grant: invoiced monthly, paid from each invoice's page by bank transfer, ACH, or card. Settings > Billing shows your terms. Your saved card then becomes optional. Invoice billing comes with a credit limit: once your open invoices and unbilled usage reach it, work past your plan waits until you pay an invoice. From the menu beside your invoice billing, Edit details changes your invoice details at any time, and Switch to automatic card payment returns to your card once one is saved.

Invoices and promo codes#

In Billing, each invoice shows its date, total, due date, and status. Pay opens an open invoice on Stripe to pay it, and View opens a settled one, where you can download it. To redeem a promo code, choose Add code from the menu beside Promo codes, enter it, and choose Apply. The amount is added to your balance and used before your card is charged. Approved First Month Free offers also appear here and on your signup receipt.
