Three agents that do work on the web for people launched in the past eight weeks. SpaceXAI, the company formerly called xAI, launched Grok Bot on August 11[1]. Meta launched Muse on September 8[2]. OpenAI launched dots on September 29[3].
They differ in price and plan, but they share a shape. Each one has a computer of its own, takes a goal from a person, and keeps working on it in the background. Some of that work happens on brand websites, including yours.
What launched#
- Muse, from Meta, is a personal agent people message in the Muse app or in WhatsApp. It runs on Meta's Muse Spark model. Meta says it can open a browser, fill out forms, and check out with Link by Stripe. It is rolling out in the US.
- Grok Bot, from SpaceXAI, is a team of always-on agents, each with a computer of its own in the cloud. They sign in and work across apps, tools, and websites, including ones with no clean API.
- dots, from OpenAI, are always-on agents in ChatGPT. They run on GPT-6 Astra, have their own cloud computer, and work toward a person's goals around the clock. They are rolling out to ChatGPT Pro and Business Premium users.
A new kind of visitor#
Picture the errands people will hand these agents. Find a dentist nearby who takes my plan. Compare these three quotes. Check whether this jacket comes in my size and ships by Friday.
To finish any of them on your site, the agent has to find the answer on your pages. It meets the same menus, pop-ups, PDFs, and forms your customers do. If the answer is buried, the agent can give up or move on to a competitor, and the person it works for hears the outcome, not the path.
Your web analytics can tell you that something arrived. It can't tell you what that visitor was sent to do, or whether it got done.
Send your own shopper first#
Point11 Experience campaigns put that kind of visitor on your site on purpose. An AI shopper with its own browser acts as one of your customers and tries to do what that customer came to do. Every visit is recorded, scored, and read back as the friction to fix.
- The customer. Each visit starts from one of your digital twins: modeled buyers that Point11 builds from your website, your audiences, or your CRM contacts.
- The goal. You give the twins a task. Point11 writes it as one goal in each customer's own words, plus the signs you would see on screen if the visit worked, such as a price shown or a plan listed. The same goal runs on your site and on a competitor's, so the two compare fairly.
- The visit. The shopper works in a desktop or phone browser. For sites and apps you connect, it can also use Safari on a real iPhone, or your native app on a real device. It chooses every click, and Point11 records each step.
- The score. A separate scoring engine reads the recorded screens and answers one question: did this customer get what they came for? You get a pass or a fail, one to five stars on a pass, and the reason in plain words. The engine never sees the shopper's own verdict, so a shopper can't grade its own visit.
- The replay. Watch the moment a customer got stuck, then make it right with Alpha.
Campaigns repeat in cycles, so you can watch your pass rate, stars, and site-failure rate move after you ship a change.
What Experience is, and isn't#
Experience doesn't run Muse, Grok Bot, or dots, and it doesn't see their sessions on your site. Its shopper is Point11's own, running on models we choose for computer use. What you get is a stand-in you control: an agent with a goal, working through your pages in a real browser, for the customers you pick, with every screen kept as evidence.
It is also a polite guest. On a site you haven't connected, such as a competitor's, it reads robots.txt as Point11Bot before it opens a browser, and a fence blocks contact-form submissions.
Experience doesn't count agent hits. It sends one shopper on one customer's errand and shows you what happened. For the step before the visit, how AI assistants describe and recommend you, see Discovery, which we introduced with Point11 Analytics.
