Your CRM already knows your customers. Point11 can use what it knows to shape your digital twins. Export a CSV from HubSpot, Salesforce, or any other CRM, drop it into Point11 Analytics, and the twins your campaigns run on start from the customers you actually serve.

On its own, Point11 builds your twins from your business profile: what your website says about you and a realistic mix of your market. A CRM upload adds what only you know: who buys from you, what they spend, how they found you, and what they tell your team.

Bring in an export#

Open Customers, choose New customers, then CRM upload.

  1. Drop in a CSV. Use the export you already have, one record per row, up to 20,000 rows. No Point11 template or reformatting is needed, and a sample CSV is there if you want one.
  2. Review the matches. Point11 suggests a match for each column among 17 customer fields, including company, website, job title, location, industry, employee count, annual revenue, spend, lifecycle stage, channel, tier, language, and notes. You can change any match before a single row is uploaded.
  3. Confirm. Only the mapped rows you confirm are sent to Point11.
  4. Create customers. When the upload is ready, it is listed under Customers › CRM › Imports. Choose Create customers to build twins from it.

Each upload is a snapshot of your CRM on the day you export it. When your customers change, upload a fresh export.

What Point11 does with your rows#

Point11 keeps the signal and leaves out the person. Each value is stored in a general form:

  • A job title becomes a seniority level and a job function. The title itself is not kept.
  • A location becomes a region and how urban it is. City and postal code are not kept.
  • Ages, company size, revenue, and spend become bands.
  • Notes become themes, such as needs, pain points, and objections. The text itself is never kept.
  • Company names and website hosts are kept as company identity. Point11 does not visit those sites.

From those rows, Point11 builds a CRM profile. It treats your upload as a slice of your customer base, not the whole of it, unless the data shows otherwise. It keeps the lasting facts about your company, rewrites the customer side where your rows give evidence (audiences, revenue lines, channels, regions, segments, and how much each one weighs), and fills anything your file leaves out from your business profile. That is why the file does not need to be perfect.

Each accepted row becomes one seed, and each twin starts from a seed. Where a row is silent, the profile fills the gap. The result is a set of twins that represent groups of customers like yours, not copies of the people in your file.

Why it matters#

Every Point11 campaign runs on twins. Discovery measures how often AI assistants name you when your twins ask. Experience watches your twins try to buy from you. Research interviews them. The closer those twins are to your real customers, the closer each result is to your market.

It also shapes the revenue figures. Twins belong to your revenue lines, and Point11 values revenue influenced line by line: what a line is worth, times how often AI assistants pick you in Discovery conversations on that line. When your twins start from your CRM, the conversations behind that rate are the ones customers like yours would have.

Privacy and permission#

The upload is designed to keep personal data out:

  • Your file is read in your browser. Point11 never receives the file itself.
  • Columns that identify people are rejected. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, dates of birth, and account or device identifiers are never uploaded. Neither are regulated data, such as government identifiers, payment, or health data, or protected characteristics, such as sex, gender, race, ethnicity, or religion. Protected characteristics are never inferred from your rows.
  • Free text is cleaned. Email addresses, links, and phone numbers are removed from free-text fields.
  • Matching sees a small sample. To suggest the matches, Point11 sends the column headers and up to five sample values per column to an AI model that proposes the mapping, and to one that checks the upload against our acceptable-use rules.
  • Rows are deleted once they are used. Confirmed rows are deleted when the profile is built, and a failed upload's rows within seven days. What stays is the general form of each row described above.
  • You decide what stays. Delete an upload, and its CRM profile and seeds go with it. Twins built from it that no campaign used are deleted, and those a campaign already used are retired.

Your uploads and twins stay private to your organization. Our privacy policy has the full detail.
