## Overview

A Manager account is your firm's account on Point11. Agencies, consultancies, and multi-brand teams use it to connect their clients' accounts, give their team access, and pay their clients' invoices. Each client keeps its own account and data, and decides what your team can do there.

## Create a Manager account

1. Open the account menu and choose **Add Manager account**.
2. Enter an **Account name** and choose **Continue**.
3. Under **Connect accounts**, choose the accounts you already own or administer. Your Manager gets Admin access to each one.
4. Choose **Create Manager**.

Your Manager's Home opens on **Set up your Manager**: **Add your accounts**, **Invite your team**, and **Set up invoicing**. The account menu lists it under **Managers**.

Your Manager has a 10-digit **Manager ID**. Clients see it on your invites and in their settings, so they know it's you. Nobody types it: accounts connect by invite.

## Connect an account

A client's account and your Manager connect when one side invites and the other accepts. In **Accounts**, your owner or an admin chooses **Add account**, then **Connect an account**:

- **Your accounts** lists accounts you also own or administer. Choose them and a **Manager access level**, then **Connect**. They connect at once, with no email.
- **Invite an account** emails the client's admin. Enter their **Admin's email**, a **Requested access level**, and an optional message, then choose **Send invite**.

The client's owner or an admin accepts on **Accept a connection**, which shows your name, Manager ID, and verified domains. They choose the access level and can create their account right there if they don't have one yet. Until then, the account shows as **Invited** in **Accounts**. An invite expires after 7 days; **Resend** and **Cancel invite** are in its menu.

Clients can start too: in **Settings > Members**, under **Managers and partners**, their owner or an admin chooses **Connect**, then **Manager**, and enters your admin's email. Your owner or an admin accepts.

## Access levels

The client sets your team's access and can change it at any time. Your team never manages a client's billing, members, API keys, sign-in rules, or ownership.

| Level | Your team can |
| --- | --- |
| None | Nothing yet; you're connected with no access |
| Viewer | See everything and change nothing |
| Editor | Also start campaigns and reports |
| Admin | Also change the client's settings |

A client can also set an end date, limit what your team spends there each month, or require your team to use two-step verification. Removing access keeps you connected, and keeps whoever pays.

In **Accounts**, choose an account to see its details and activity, and **Open account** to work in it. Select several accounts to **Pause campaigns** or **Resume campaigns** together.

## End a connection

Either side's owner or an admin can choose **Disconnect** at any time: you from the account's menu in **Accounts**, the client from your Manager's menu in **Settings > Members**. Access ends at once. If you pay for the account, billing returns to it on the next 1st. To work together again, either side sends a new invite.

## Create an account for a client

For a client who isn't on Point11 yet, choose **Add account**, then **Create new account**. Enter the **Account name** and **Account owner email**, then choose **Create account**. You own the account while you set it up, your Manager has Admin access, and the owner gets an email invitation to take it over. Until they do, the account shows as **Pending**, and its menu offers **Resend invitation** and **Cancel invitation**.

Until the owner takes over, the account can't add a card, so only your Manager can pay for it, from the day you start. You can't disconnect it or stop paying for it yet. Once the owner takes over, the account is theirs: they can lower your access and move billing back.

## Pay for client accounts

An account pays for itself unless your Manager pays for it. Your Manager pays by invoice, so set that up first: in **Billing**, choose **Set up invoicing**.

1. **Legal profile:** your legal name, entity type, and address, which invoices you pay are addressed to.
2. **Billing details:** your **Billing contact** and **Billing email**, where invoices go, plus a PO number and tax ID.
3. **Invoice terms:** choose **Request invoice terms**. Point11 reviews your request and sets your payment terms and credit limit.

Once your terms are in force, choose **Add account** in **Billing**, choose a connected account, and choose **Continue**. Set the credit to allot to it, plus a monthly budget or PO number if you want them, and choose **Pay for this account**. Owners, admins, and members with billing access can do this; the client doesn't need to accept, and paying gives you no access.

- **Every change takes effect on the next 1st.** A change in the last two days of a month takes effect on the 1st after that. An account that has never been invoiced starts at once.
- **Its invoices come to you.** They're addressed to your Manager and sent to your billing email, after the client's own credits and plan allowance. The first invoice you pay includes the previous month's usage.
- **Stopping.** Choose **Stop paying** from the account's menu in **Billing**. The client's admin can also choose **Move billing back** in **Settings > Billing**. Either way, and when either side disconnects, billing returns to the account on the next 1st.
- **No way to pay.** If billing returns to an account with no card or invoice terms of its own, its campaigns pause from that 1st until it adds a card or gets invoice terms. The client is told when billing is set to return.

**Billing** also shows your **Summary** across every account you pay for: this month, last month, outstanding, and paid this year. Each account's invoices are on its page in **Accounts**.

## Your team

Owners and admins invite people from **Settings > Members**: choose **Invite**, enter their emails, choose a role, and choose **Send**.

| Role | Access |
| --- | --- |
| Viewer | View your Manager and the clients they're given |
| Member | Also work in the clients they're given and label accounts |
| Admin | Also manage members, settings, connections, and billing; create client accounts |
| Owner | Also transfer ownership and delete the Manager |
| Billing | Manage billing only, with no client access |

New members reach no client until you give them access. From the menu beside a member, **Client access** gives them all clients at a role, or **Only assigned clients**, which you choose with **Edit assignments…**. Owners and admins start with every client. Nobody gets more in a client than the access that client gives your Manager. **Give billing access** adds billing to anyone's role.

In **Settings > Security**, you can require two-step verification, limit session length, limit invites to your domains, set up single sign-on, and verify your domains. Clients see your verified domains beside your Manager ID.

## Delete your Manager

The owner deletes the Manager from **Settings > Manager**. Access to every client ends at once, clients keep their data, and billing for each account you pay for returns to it on the next 1st. While an account you created still waits for its owner to take it over, hand it over or delete it first. A member who isn't the owner can choose **Leave account** from the menu beside their name.
